Opened in 1966, Chilterns Crematorium is set in the beautiful countryside of the Chiltern Hills. An area of outstanding natural beauty situated in an established natural woodland which offers scenic uninterrupted views of the countryside. Our setting ensures a welcoming space for all. 

Conveniently located on the outskirts of Amersham, Chilterns Crematorium is accessible from High Wycombe, Maidenhead, Aylesbury, Slough, Reading, Hemel Hempstead, Watford and surrounding areas.  

Chilterns Crematorium offers a calming environment for a memorial service, with the Garden of Remembrance providing a tranquil setting for commemorating the final resting place of a loved one.

Bereavement support

We focus on not only providing a space for those with bereavement but also on supporting our surrounding communities and charity groups.  

We do this through planned events, community engagement, tours, fundraising and donations.
