Chilterns and Bierton Crematoria have donated £6,000 for Macmillian Cancer Support.
The donation was made to the Macmillan Buckinghamshire South Fundraising Group who has helped raise money for local services including:
- the Sunrise Cancer Care Unit at High Wycombe Hospital
- the Cancer Care Unit and Information Service at Stoke Mandeville Hospital
- the Macmillan Treatment Hubs at Marlow and Amersham Hospitals
- Macmillan information at local libraries
How we make donations
With the consent of families, metals recovered during the cremation are recycled and the profit raised is used to support bereavement charities run by the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management and OrthoMetals.
