Chilterns Crematorium Proudly Participates in ICCM Metal Recycling Scheme

Chilterns Crematorium is proud to participate in the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management’s (ICCM) Metal Recycling Scheme. This scheme offers families the opportunity to give consent for the recycling of metals resulting from cremation. These include metals used in orthopaedic implants such as hip and knee replacements, as well as in the construction of coffins.

Since its inception, the scheme has raised over £19 million for charities. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the bereaved families who consent to the recycling of these metals.

If you would like to enquire about how we could support your charity through the ICCM metals recycling scheme, contact our office.
