Our Hampden chapel will be open this Mothering Sunday, 30 March offering the community a space to commemorate the mothers and mother figures that they may have lost.
Whether you have been grieving for two weeks or twenty years, all are welcome. You do not need to have ever visited the crematorium before.
Our doors will be open between 10-1pm, with gentle music playing for your time of reflection. We will have bereavement volunteers on hand for advice and sign posting. However, you do not have to talk to anybody, if all you need is a place to be alone with your thoughts.
This is a free community event and refreshments will be available at no cost. Additionally, there will be memorial information, bereavement literature and seeded paper available for you to write letters to your loved ones. These letters can be planted in our wildflower meadow within our memorial gardens or taken home to plant in your own home.
