This Mothering Sunday, the Hampden Chapel at Chilterns Crematorium warmly welcomed everyone in the community who may find this special day difficult for any reason. The event provided a serene space for reflection and remembrance, allowing individuals to seek support or reflect privately.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the two wonderful bereavement volunteers, Ray and Heather, who generously gave their time and made themselves available to speak with anyone who appreciated a chat or needed signposting. Ray and Heather were introduced to us by Cruse Bereavement Support, a valuable charity that helps people navigate one of the most painful times in life through bereavement support, information, and advocacy.
Cruse Bereavement Support offers a lifeline to those struggling with loss, providing compassionate assistance and resources. If you or anyone you know could benefit from bereavement support, you can find out more about Cruse and contact them here; https://www.cruse.org.uk/
We are grateful to everyone who attended and contributed to making this event a meaningful experience for all. Chilterns Crematorium remains committed to supporting our community through such initiatives, ensuring that no one faces these challenging times alone.
